The Dinner Experience

The family dinner table has been proven to be an essential part of a strong family unit. When we experience food together as a family we are not only building strong social skills but we also by “sharing” a meal together build a unity, companionship, and a sense of belonging.Studies have shown, time and time again, that eating together as  a family changes every statistic of a child’s development, from grades to drug use and peer pressure. Family traditions build a team identity which help kids cope with every aspect of adolescent and young adulthood social development. And when they grow old and leave the home, there will always be comfort in the idea that there is still a place for them at the table.
